Clinical Education
ACHE recognizes that clinical education is an integral component of a student’s physical therapy education, and we value our relationships with clinical education partners. ACHE is committed to working collaboratively with clinical faculty in order to improve the quality of our program and each student’s learning experience. It is only through the clinical education community that we are able to meet our goals of producing excellent practitioners, life-long learners, and leaders in the healthcare community.
Clinical education experiences are designed to provide students with opportunities for professional role modeling, observation, patient care, and teaching in a wide variety of settings. Clinical experiences are planned to coincide with didactic coursework and the students’ level of experience. As students progress through the clinical education program, they will be expected to manage increasingly complex patients with an increased level of independence. Students completing the physical therapy program will be expected to practice at entry-level proficiency.

Clinical Instructor Credentialing Course: We encourage all our Clinical Instructors to complete the Basic APTA Credentialing course, offered bi-annually, to ensure consistency and quality for our clinical internships.
As one of our valued clinical instructors, we would like to offer you the opportunity to access our extensive Health Sciences Library, as well as eligibilty for CEU hours for providing Clinical Instruction to Students.
